Cocktail rings are supposed to be ostentatious but this one doesn't fit the bill perfectly. It isn't big enough to scream pretentiousness and yet, it isn't small enough to be called dainty.
A market find, this square ring was. It is of gunmetal-coloured alloy with what I believe is a thin coat of purple resin on the square surface, thin enough to see through to the curls-and swirls design underneath. There seems to be some Tibetan influence in the whole look of the ring.
It is imperfect: rough around the edges and slightly bent in one corner. It's cheap, flawed but endearing.
